ethnic and gender barriers so that all people have the same oppourtunities.
Accomplishments: "Just recently, a freshman student at the University of Miami was killed by a moving car on US1, a busy highway right across from campus. This is the third student death in just seven years. I am one of two students spearheading a campaign to convince Miami Dade County to build a two-million dollar overpass on the intersection where the three students have died. We recently have received confirmation of the monies being appropriated after several meetings with the county & local government."
